My son asked his dad why Dora’s friends are all animals, and The Shtick said, “Probably because she has poor communication skills and doesn’t get along with people very well. She’ll probably end up a cat lady.” Ha ha, you guys should have seen my face! The Shtick and I have been married for a while now. We’re getting past the seven-year-itch time frame and we’re still totally in love. Unfortunately, a few of our friends have been having hard times with their marriages, and some of them have been getting divorced. Its especially sad seeing people we care about really heartbroken over this, while their spouse is usually quite selfish about the whole thing. Not that The Shtick and I have the perfect marriage. We fight and argue and hate each other sometimes. Sometimes he’s bossy, sometimes I’m rude. But much more often we love, adore and try to help each other and we want to be together forever. Anyway, while all this all this unpleasantness is going on in the lives of our friends, The Shtick has taken it pretty hard. His pals call him for support or just to talk when they’re down. So since this started, he comes home everyday and tells me how much he loves me. He’s always been affectionate, but its important to realize what really matters most to you in life. Don’t take people for granted. Doh my gosh! My husband knew I feeling awful and came home with flowers. I guess someone cares. He makes me feel so guilty. (Excuse me while I brag on him.) The Shtick hates halloween and I’m too sick to be festive, so when he comes home with this tiny bag of halloween candy, I’m like, “that’s not enough,” and he’s like “I know.”
So after I’m still pretty new to ME, and I quit playing after I got super tired from my work out. I straight passed out. And what do you think happens? The Shtick starts playing. And he gets further in the game than me cause he kicks butt. Sleep is important for the human body. Get off my freaking game. … I wonder if I do the same thing?
The Shtick says, “You should have at least as much good form as Captain Hook. The scallywag.”
